Awesome pack

Awesome product. Have used it in the sticks, urban environments, work purposes, edc. If you're after a highly durable and comfortable product definitely choose this bag. It's big enough to fit clothing and supplies for overnighters in the bush or space enough for 3 days in urban environments. Only pet peeve is the material on the back at the bottom which is used to grip your back to stabilise the pack can cause your shirt to ride up your back if it is not tucked in.

I've got two of these, one I fly interstate with weekly, the other is a work bag. Great size, plenty of places to stash things. Good laptop sleeve, I've never put a bladder in the bladder area, but have used it as an easier to access laptop sleeve and it's worked well for that. I don't like the Velcro covers on the straps and cut them away on both packs. A lot more comfortable without it. I would be getting close to 10 year's service out of these two back packs and they're both still in good condition, it's a robust piece of gear.

Great bag. with minor caveats

I have been using this bag for about 4 years now, general commute some EDC. To give an idea, with just the bag and EDC weighs in at 5kg. That leaves space for a whole lot more. Well set up, and good pocket placement. This bag is great for the grey man concept. However, there are two things to look at, the chest strap, the plastic connector for the chest strap to the shoulder strap. It starts to come away very easily. If you are not looking out you can lose the chest strap. An easy fix is getting a "D" ring and a hacksaw, slice the straight part of the ring and replace the plastic one. The other is a little more difficult to fix. That is the elastic shock cord on the drink bottle holders on the side of the bag. One of mine tore out of the stitching. A bit frustrating. However, relatively minor gripes on a bag that is doing me very well.
