The A.T.A.C boot series was designed by and for law enforcement professionals for the most comfortable work day possible.  USA leather ensures sharp appearance with shiny polishable toe, 1200D Cordura nylon for durability, our new Shock Mitigation System technology for support, and an oil/slip resistant outsole for stabilty.  The A.T.A.C 8" sidezip boot features a hidden side pocket, and a curved YKK zipper for easy on and off capabilty.  The A.T.A.C series is the most comfortable high performance footwear available.

If you are working around the clock and always on your feet, I couldnt recommend 5.11 any higher. They are lightweight but tough as nails.  I wear my 5.11 everyday and are great for working in tough terrain and heat conditions. Even when the hard day of work is over, they make great motorbike boots for the ride home. The YKK zipper is strong and hasnt come close to breaking after all the neglect I give it. For a boot with support, comfort and performance... buy 5.11
