Surefire® M600C LED Scout Light® Kit 01 WeaponLight
This kit provides an operator with the ability to customize the Scout Light for mission-specific needs. The lightweight, powerful Scout Light can be outfitted with its recoil-immune KX2C LED head, which generates 200 lumens of blinding light—ten times the light of a typical two-D-cell flashlight. Or, for stealth missions, where night vision devices (NVDs) may be used, this WeaponLight can be outfitted with its shock-isolated LU60A incandescent lamp module and its FM63 infrared filter, both included. This combination permits only infrared output to pass from the Scout Light making it ideal for stealth operations.

The light's solid-state, recoil-immune LED has no filament to burn out or break and is digitally regulated to provide two hours of tactical-level light on a single set of SureFire 123A lithium batteries. (Tactical-level light is defined as 50 lumens of output or more, and is sufficient to temporarily overwhelm the night-adapted vision of an opponent.) The Total Internal Reflection (TIR) lens gathers and focuses the LED's light to create a focused beam ideal for longer-range applications while supplying enough surround beam to accommodate an operator's peripheral vision. The included incandescent lamp module, generally used to produce infrared output with the included FM63 filter, produces 65 lumens of tactical-level light for one hour on a set of batteries.

The Scout Light can easily be situated on a Picatinny rail (even those that are out of spec) via an integral thumbscrew clamp which features hardened steel cams and drivers with a titanium Picatinny wedge that ensure a secure hold. The light is activated by clicking the included tailcap switch or by pressing the pressure-sensitive tape switch (also included) which allows for fingertip control without altering one's grip on the weapon.

Scout Light M600C-KIT01 includes: M600C WeaponLight with M75 thumbscrew mount, LU60A incandescent lamp module, FM63 infrared filter, two 123A SureFire lithium batteries, click-on/off tailcap, 7" tape switch, alcohol prep pad, Velcro® attachment pads, and user manual.
