Punches above its weightclass |

The SF E1B is a good light.
It's compact yet still packs a punch and can illuminate a subject easily up to 50m away.
It comes on in High which is beneficial for law enforcement who do not want to waste time switching modes during suspect identification.
It has a nice tight beam which allows it to put good light downrange.
It does not have a very wide beam. It isn't the best light for vehicle approaches as its total output is highly focused, meaning you trade away peripheral lighting in exchange for compact size.
Still, as a secondary light it is quite impressive and punches a hole through the darkness.
The dual-sided pocket clip is just a bonus.
An enjoyable light to use and hold, and fills a necessary niche, with regards to secondary lighting capable of reasonable short and medium distance illumination.
You will not be disappointed.

With the dual output led lets you use it as a spotlight and a reading light without blinding you in the process.
