They take about a week to wear in. Once worn in they are an awesome boot. Very comfortable and light. The lace set up makes they easy and fast to put on and take off.

So far i have found these to be very nice boots, they have just the right amount of padding. The grip is good and the triple stitching makes them very tough.

Thank you for recommending and sending me the Rocky S2V Boot. I wore them on a training exercise this last weekend and they performed very well. ******** [Area Removed for Privacy Reasons] Training area is quite cool this time of year so no heat problems were noted. I initially soaked the boots in water and wore them for the first night wet to help with "breaking "them in. The drainage system of the boot works VERY well, and my feet were almost dry after 12 hours. Grip and stability was good, as was toe grip while scaling walls and fences. The shock absorbsion was excellent when landing, and standing was comfortable. But most importantly :), they LOOK GOOD, and most other soldiers commented on them.
