The new X-Light from Photon has been designed as a low-cost alternative for those who are not yet ready to step up to the premium Photon line of micro-lights.   The X-Light has been designed with the same attention to detail as the Photons, but does not use the same expensive materials.

The LED bulbs used in the X-Light are very bright, approaching the brightness of the Photon for only a fraction of the cost.   Although it does not feature the same lifetime guarantee, the X-Light does what it does very well and has been designed to provide years of trouble-free use. The batteries are easily replaceable, and the electronic on/off switch is stiff enough that it won't get turned on accidentally in your pocket, yet is still easy to use.   It is very compact and is a great fit for anyone's keychain.  

IMPORTANT!: The X-Light Micro is shipped in a "point-of-purchase battery protection" mode which is intended to preserve the batteries by automatically shutting the light off after 5-6 seconds. To take it out of this point-of-purchase mode, simply press and hold the button until the flashlight turns off (approx. 15-20 seconds).
