The Photon Freedom Fusion is the new and improved multifunctional light from the Photon Freedom series of lights. Pulse Width Modulation and DC-DC voltage regulation make the Freedom Fusion the ultimate in energy efficient lighting, precisely managing power output to provide a constant level of light all the way to the end of battery life. The light output from the 8-LED dual beam array is fully adjustable, allowing while the pivoting indexed head reliably aims the light and guaranties it will stay where you direct it. The water resistant Freedom Fusion is also a hand flashlight easily disconnected from the head strap. This design allows convenient hand or table top use. Runs on Carbon, Alkaline, NiCad, NiMH, or Lithium AA cells. All contacts are gold-plated. The Photon Fusion is designed for long life and rugged use by the serious user.

Maximum brightness all the way to the end -- Instead of dimming as the batteries lose their strength, the advanced circuitry built into the Fusion keeps the light at full brightness until the batteries are almost completely dead. The Fusion won't leave you in the dark, though. When the batteries start to near the end of their life, the smaller secondary beam color LEDs will start to blink, indicating that the batteries are getting low. When the batteries have finally reached the point where they can no longer support the current level of brightness, the light will finally start to dim slightly and the secondary beam color LEDs will come on continuously indicating the reduced power. At any point while the secondary bulbs are indicating low battery power, you may manually reduce the brightness which will turn off the low power indication until the batteries again reach the point where they cannot support the current level of brightness.
