Conventional LED flashlights generate a weak wide beam. The 8020 with Recoil LED uses a 1 watt LED that's aimed backward into the reflector. 100% of the light is captured and reflected forward as a super bright white collimated beam that cuts through the thickest smoke, fog and dust. It's 10 times brighter at 30 feet than multi-array LED lights and with 50% longer battery life. The M8 has a push button switch and comes with a polarity guard tray that makes operating the flashlight impossible if cells are inverted, and consequently preventing dangerous outgassing.
