We have a range of light weight headsets available for many applications. They range form an ear hook with a boom microphone, to light weight headsets, to stereo type headsets dual cup headsets.

Compatibility and mixed radio platforms is always an issue within organizations, even small. McKay’s have developed a system where our headsets are fully interchangeable. There are several PTT options available that can be fitted as easy as unplugging the connector and plugging in another for a different radio.

When ordering be sure to select the appropriate PTT assembly, or RI cable to be used with your specific radio type.

The 5LWHS is an excellent all round lightweight accessory. The single ear pad provides a high level of comfort for extended periods of wear. This product now includes our spiral flex boom assembly. The soft rubber coated over the head strap provides easy placement and a high level of comfort for extended wear.
The 9SB ear hook with semi rigid boom is extremely good for long periods of wear. The unique ear hook removes the weight from the ear canal and the semi rigid boom microphone is easy to adjust for close placement to the users mouth. This has been recently lengthened for closer placement. Suitable for moderately noisy night clubs and outdoor use. Recently upgraded to use our polyurethande cables and rubber PTT button.
The 5LWBH, Twister ultra-lightweight headset is an excellent all round lightweight accessory. The single ear pad provides a high level of comfort for extended periods of wear. The easily adjustable passive noise canceling microphone is very effective in reducing back ground noise. This product now includes our heavy duty polyurethane cabling and spiral flex boom assembly. This are very popular in Retail, events security and restaurant applications. Several push to talk options are available.
