For those who need something larger than their Jumbo™, LEGEAR now offers the Maxpedition COLOSSUS™ Versipack™, a bold new, no-holds-barred approach to Maxpedition’s battlefield-proven shoulder sling concept.
 
Large yet manageable, the Maxpedition COLOSSUS™ has main and secondary compartments each filled to the gills with internal pockets and dividers. The frontal compartment features an additional lower zipper opening to access items at the bottom. Beaucoup attachment points line both exterior sides while rear and back sleeve compartments both contain 7” x 8” loop fields for CCW accessories allowing users to carry a handgun or three. The back compartment can also accommodate a 50 oz. hydration reservoir.
 
The Maxpedition COLOSSUS™ is bells and whistles galore, and designed for those who want a myriad of value added features and expandability. Use it as a grab-and-go bail out bag, mini range bag, or for everyday carry. Due to its complexity and labor-intensive nature, the Maxpedition COLOSSUS™ is a “Special Project” which will be produced only on a limited basis. Low production numbers on this pack mean the Maxpedition COLOSSUS™ will be sold on a first come, first serve basis.

This is an awesome bag! Incredibly well made and this thing is built to last a lifetime. Really impressed with the design. The bag is smaller than I thought it would be but still has ample space to carry everything that I need throughout the day. Heaps of compartments and as with all the Maxpedition gear you are able to add other pouches and sheaths to make it function exactly how you want it to.
LE Gear are brilliant to deal with & their postage is incredibly fast. I can highly recommend both them and the bag. Very happy customer. Looking forward to dealing with them again. Many thanks!

I Love this bag!!!

I bought it for use as a mixed camera bag/day bag for hikes. I fit my 450D in with ease; then added my 300mm lens; then added my 50mm prime; then added filters. the list goes on. It took it all and still I have space left.

So, I attached my LMF2 knife on the outside and started getting ideas of getting more maxpedition accessories like the Janus extension pocket and vairous attachement like the nylene bottle holder. Seriously, the potential is endless.

Construction is faultless, solid seams everywhere. The rubberised insides sits perfect against the hip so the bag doesn't slide around too much. The belt clip is simple and effective so you can keep it still when on the move. I've also managed to attach the belt loop (for want of a better word) to my Deuter pack and it sticks like glue to it.

In short, if you're looking for a pack with the ability to become what every you want, and you need a bit of space, you'll be hard pressed to find better.
