The bear grylls basic survival kit has to be one of the best basic survival kits on the market, the equipment that comes within the kit feel sturdy, tough and enduring. I have used the knife and feels suprisingly strong for its size and sharp. The flint and striker are one of my favorite pieces of equipment in the kit which feels like something a soldier would get in his/her kit, the pouch it comes in, is compact but is suffecient for what it conceals and is a good bright orange to find in an emergency. The only negative I could say about the Gerber Bear Grylls basic survival kit is that it has no basic medical supplies, however I dont really mind as I have a seperate kit for medical supplies. I strongly reccomend this item as a basic survival kit.
