Beats competitors hands down |

The Fenix TK50 is perhaps one of the best torches around and beats competitors hands down. It's got a sleep and attractive design, which is not heavy (compared to other 'D' cell torches in the market) however its very tough and could be used for protection if there was a need to do so. The reach is far greater than other torches in the market and its waterproof too which is always a bonus when outdoors. Cannot recommend it enough and my friends and family all comment on how good it looks and how great it is!

This seems like a good torch. My only doubt is to enter the 'flash mode', the instructions say use a 'quick double press of the power button', but that doesn't work. I've worked out over 2 weeks that the answer is to hold the power button for about 1 second, then do a quick double press - works everytime. The turbo beam is excellent and size and weight are exactly what I was looking for.
