Great light. Heaps of lumens, packs a mean punch for it's size. Comes with a lanyard and clip to offer versatility in carry options. I have found the Fenix carry pouches to be difficult to remove the light from under stressed conditions so I would not bother using it. The multiple power settings are very useful when you have this many lumens at call to allow you to select a setting that is appropriate to the task at hand. The light is also of very solid construction and is an appropriate size and construction to allow it to also double is a 'strike enhancer' for self defence applications. So long as you are aware of the limitations of LED light in tactical situations, all these features make this light a highly useful part of your every day carry kit.

I traded in my mini Maglite for the PD30 and am very glad I did. There is no comparison. The different light levels make this torch suitable for many different appications. Would recomend it to all my work colleagues in the security industry

What can i say, this is a great light. Small enough to fit in your pocket without being annoying, and brighter than most larger lights you're likely to have. It has a bright hotspot with a well defined spill area. Low mode is good enough for general use, but the turbo mode is hard to ignore. The build is excellent with a great smooth finish. Not doubt about it, if you want a small carry-around light, this is the one. Great value!!!
