My new LD20 arrived in the mail today. I have just taken it out the back yard to give it a try. As a cop with 13 years experience I have owned a lot of flashlights by manufacturers including Surefire, Inova, MagLite and Streamlite, and this one is the best so far. For a small unit running on AA batteries, it leaves everything else in the same class for dead. One night this thing is gonna save my butt.

The LD20 is a must have. It is now my new work light replacing a LED Lenser P7 (now serving home duties). It is only slightly brighter, but the design is so much better. It wont roll away, it wont gather crud in the beam adjustment, and it uses 2x AA instead of 4x AAA. Solid as a rock.

I was first drawn to Fenix Flashlights by the 50% discount offered. I had no problem with deciding to trade in my 15 year old mini maglight (which has served me well) but I then had to make the difficult choice of which torch I wanted to buy. I eventually chose the LD 20 after reading the reviews by light-reviews and the-gadgeteer. I was especially impressed with the photos provided by the-gadgeteer. I was further drawn to the LD 20 in that it uses AA batteries which are always readily available. I have not been disappointed. The LD 20 is light, compact and easy to use. I didn't much like the pocket clip so removed it but do like the scabbard which fits to my equipment belt and makes the torch easily accessible. I am confidant the LD 20 will give me many years of service.

E01 & LD20 R4 |

I currently work as a Correctional Officer in Queensland and my first Fenix product was an E01. This mighty little touch has stopped a myriad of unauthorized items from making there way into the Centre either by accident or on purpose just by putting a little light on the subject, it's amazing what you can find. For a working torch and when your searching vehicle and property it fits neatly into the palm of your hand, it turns on and off with ease and at no time have I ever had worry about it accidentally turning it’s self ON. (The battery life is outstanding) This May Sound Corny, but that’s why LD 20 R4 WAS NOT a hard choice, Josh and the team make it even easier by being on hand to answer any and all questions. (Including the dumb ones). Good on ya LeGear

Just traded in my Surefire 6P for a Fenix LD20.. best thing i ever did, 205 lumens as opposed to 60 lumens, runs on AA batteries instead of expensive lithiums, feels good and performs even better!
