If your in the market for a new torch then look no further. I did the typical thing when leaving the academy and I purchased the same torch as everyone else from a camping shop. It takes 3 batteries which are $10 each, battery life is terrible and the light is ordinary. Thanks to Legear I now have the FeniixLD20. AA Batteries from work keep running costs to nil, its sturdy and the light is excellent. I would recommend this to anyone.

I have used a number of torches over the past few years while a member of the Police Service. I have used maglights, Inova T4 and the Surefire M3. The Fenix L20 is by far the best torch I have used. Its light, easy to hold, strong and not to mention the excellent lighting capabilities. The AA batteries last forever and are supplied by my employer so running costs are nil. If you are in the market for a new torch then look no further. Well done Legear!!!!

And yet again LE gear has delivered the best product on the line. The Fenix LD20 for price size and power cannot be beaten. As a patrol officer this is my new best friend, fits nicely on my utility belt and even between this and my baton the torch has got me out of sticky situations, great to disorientate offenders in turbo/flicker mode you can keep multiple attackers at bay...I will be highly recommending this product to any police/protective services?security personnel I come across.

I cannot believe this torch produces so much light ... even before turbo! The variable intensities are awesome and with the red filter great for night vision ! As a Search and Rescue dude this is the best torch I have come across. Gotta love the SOS flashes :). Beats Mag, led lensers, pelican etc. and anything I have used before hands down. All from two AA bats. Very happy!

Normally I wouldn't be to bothered about writing a positive review - if there was something wrong guaranteed I will tell everyone! But on this product the LD20 I was that impressed I felt I should tell everyone about it. The LD20 is impressive, its perfect size fitting in the palm of the hand with a good grip. The tactical push button tail cap works a treat - on Turbo mode you just tap it and it strobes - perfect for piss heads, drugged up people, crowds of people to disperse or to disorientate offenders. For map reading in the car etc you can drop the lumens down so you have a longer run time. At 180 lumens I believe this is the most powerful AA powered flashlight on the market. I traded in my Surefire 6P that was 60 lumens and chewing through expensive batteries and bulbs. Very happy with this item - keep up the good work Fenix! Now I have my eyes on the Fenix TK40...
