The Fenix L1D uses a single AA battery to drive its Cree X-Lamp LED. The switch button is not only easy to operate with one hand, but it is recessed into the tail frame so the flashlight can stand up on its end, illuminating a room like a candle. The compact, lightweight, and precision-made flashlight comes with a lanyard as well as a belt case so you can carry it in your pocket or on your belt.
