The Danner Striker™ II GTX® boot is built on the TERRA FORCE™ X Lite performance platform for lightweight fit and durability. A GORE-TEX® liner offers breathable, waterproof protection and the full-grain leather and 1000 Denier nylon upper supply exterior toughness. Non-metallic construction won’t set off metal-based security systems.

These boots do not need painful wearing in as straight out of the box they are perfect. Typical Danner construction TOUGH and for a very reasonable price. if you want good,  comfortable and reliable boots GET THESE.

Work/unifrom boot November 26, 2012

So far so good with these boots.  They are a great fit straight out of the box and nice and light for a work boot too.

I have only had them for a week so how well they wear remains to be seen but the sole doesn't look like it will break down too quickly.

Can't say enough how much I enjoy these boots, have not tested the ceramic toe through a metal detector yet but will certainly do so at some stage.

Comfortable fit, straight out of the box I wore them for 6 hours and had no complaints at all. Mostly standing.

These boots are everything you want in a tactical boot. I do a lot of walking so I need something comfy, so these suit me to a tee. Great price, as I've seen these on other sites for $350

Purchased a pair, first pair too small, great service from LEGEAR to exchnage them for larger pair.  New pair stright of the box very comfortable and easy to wear.  Great all round boot.
