I own a pair of the black 8'' version of these. I brought this pair for casual use and they are a great boot. Very comfortable. Look good (also look a bit more casual then the black ones). Great traction etc. These also seem to breath a bit better then the black version, and thats perhaps because where the air vents are, the desert tan boots dont have that plastic style material blocking parts of the vent like the black ones do.
