The Clear Barrel strap is an inexpensive device for officers and agencies to use in visibly identifying that a weapon has been cleared and there is no round chambered.   Specifically designed for firearms evidence procedures, the Clear Barrel's unique, one-piece design and low profile make it easy to carry and highly convenient for officers to use in the field when securing seized weapons.   Once applied, the Clear Barrel remains in place. The surface area of the tab allows an officer to write vital information directly onto the Clear Barrel until an evidence tag can be applied to the gun by means of the evidence tag hole.  The bright orange nylon material that makes up the Clear Barrel strap is highly visible to all who come into contact with the weapon to provide peace of mind on sight.  APPLICATION IS AS EASY AS inserting the Clear Barrel strap down through the barrel or cylinder of a cleared weapon, removing the breakaway tab, and sliding it onto the opposite end of the shaft protruding from the ejection port or cylinder.
