With Chamber Check in place, you can safely train1 to use your firearm, including holstering it, knowing that it will not discharge. Chamber Check was developed by a police trainer who recognized the need for such a safety device.

Transportation
With Chamber Check™ in place, you can safely transport your firearms(s). Plus, its silica insert makes it possible to store your firearm for an extended period without worrying about corrosion or rust.
In addition to using Chamber Check™, keep the gun and ammunition separate. Use a state-approved firearms safety device on the gun, such as a trigger lock, for extra assurance that it cannot be fired. Place the firearm unloaded in a locked container, such as a lock box or a gun safe.
Storage

Be sure to secure firearms to prevent theft and/or misuse by people, especially children. A gun safe is recommend above all else, but there are other lawful ways to store your firearms. As is the case with gun transport, laws governing the legal storage of firearms vary from state to state and even city to city. You are required to research and know what laws pertain to you.
Chamber Check™ is inexpensive yet completely effective in rendering firearms safe:
Easy to insert:
- Lock slide/bolt to the rear
- Insert chamber check into ejection port
- Push/pull cord to seat casing in chamber
Easy to remove:
- Lock slide/bolt to the rear
- Push on cord/cap end to remove from chamber
NOTE: With holstered guns, the high visibility cap should arc upward out of the barrel so that the cord will properly stick out of the holster.
CREATE A CUSTOM FIT: Custom fit your barrel length by simply cutting the cord 1 to 3 inches past the muzzle. Place a drop of clear instant glue at the cord end and slide on the extra high visibility cap provided with the kit.
